This weekend was an incredibly busy one for us!
Reggae on the Rocks at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, on Saturday. Then Bran and I headed up to Balistreri Winery in Denver for a little wine tasting and lunch, with my folks on Sunday.
With a weekend full of fun outings, a weekend full of fun outfits was definitely a must! (For a girl like me anyway.)
I’m LOVING the colorful tribal prints that are surfacing in the fashion world, and I thought this skirt would be the perfect outfit to rock out in at a Reggae show!
I’m sharing these outfits with you because I love inspiration photos, and I think they’re so helpful. I’m really happy with the way these outfits came together, so I’m hoping you like them too and can find some inspiration for yourself. Here’s what I wore, and where you can find each item!
The Tribal Body-con skirt can be found at Dillard’s for $35, here. The jacket was a gift from my boyfriend, but is from American Eagle and can be bought for $49 here. The tank is a basic spaghetti strap cami like the one shownhere. I scored the clutch from Marshall’s for $13 (major score,) and unfortunately haven’t been able to find it online anywhere for me to share it with you. The sandals are Madden Girl, which I also scored at Marshall’s (my store!!) for $22, but the exact sandal can be found (for an unfortunately higher price) here. The belt was originally bought from Charlotte Russe, but it’s years old, so I found a similar one here. The jewelry has been acquired over time, but the watch is an OLD Dooney & Bourke, and I recently bought the Two Finger Cross Ring and the Love Triangle Handpiece at Nasty Gal. Both are super cute and fun and I received alot of compliments on each piece.
Moving onto Sunday:
Sunday church, followed by an afternoon of wine tasting, gave me the perfect excuse to throw on this vintage inspired Belted Crochet Dress. I love the soft and romantic aspect that vintage style exudes, and I was thrilled when this dress finally arrived in the mail. Sadly, however, they’re all out of small sizes, so I took a risk and ordered the medium. WAY TOO BIG!! (There is nothing pretty about a vintage dress when it’s swallowing you. A paper bag would be more flattering.) But..since I really loved this look, and there wasn’t any chance of exchanging it for a smaller size, I asked my mom if she could take it in and SUCCESS! It fits wonderfully now! (Thanks mom!!)
A great thing about this weekend’s outfits is that I reused the same jewelry and shoes both days, making it super easy and convenient for me since I was out and about all weekend! The dress can be found for $68 here.
That’s all folks!
Here are just a couple of fun photos from the weekend!
