These have been in my family’s Christmas cookbook for years. They are my brother Jason’s favorite cookies, and that is just exactly what we call them…FAVORITE COOKIES. Apparently, in Brandon’s family, they are called “Doo Doo Drop Cookies” (as Brandon has coined them) and I am sure they have been a staple in alot of other homes out there as well.

Whatever you call them, these no-bake cookies couldn’t be more simple to make! Just make sure you time them right, otherwise they’ll be too crumbly (if “cooked” too long) or won’t set (if not “cooked” long enough.)
What do you and your family call these classic Christmas cookies?
Favorite Cookies
2 Cups Sugar
1 Stick (1/2 cup) Butter
1/2 Cup Milk
2 Tbsp. Cocoa Powder (natural unsweetened)
1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
3 Cups Oats (Regular/Old Fashioned)
Now remember, DO ALL STEPS QUICKLY & EXACTLY! (It helps to have everything pre-measured and sitting next to the stove.)
First, you’ll want to lay sheets of Wax Paper out on the counter. Then grab a large sauce pan & place on medium-high heat on stove. Bring sugar, butter, milk & cocoa to full boil. BOIL EXACTLY 70 SECONDS…EXACTLY!
Remove from heat. Add eanut utter & quickly give it a few good stirs til it dissolves. Stir in oats, then drop onto wax paper to cool.
Then about half an hour or so later, grab a glass of milk and ENJOY!
