This past Saturday my closest friends and family threw me a bridal shower and boy did they knock it out of the park.
I walked in and was almost immediately brought to tears when I saw all they had done.
I mean, really?! Check out this spread…
The theme was a garden party and guests were asked to wear a big floppy hat (suggested, not required) I mean, how many times do you get to wear your Kentucky Derby best? I, of course, donned the largest hat I could possibly find. It was actually quite funny because it kept bumping into other ladies, and hugs had to be more like pats on the back. I have to say though, it was an absolutely perfect day. And…if you know me…I’m a bit of a control freak; but I wouldn’t have changed one single thing!! I truly couldn’t have dreamt up anything better and am so thankful to all my closest friends and family for making this day so special.
