Like I mentioned before, we just recently received our wedding photos back. There are way (I mean waaaaaaay) too many yo be able to share them all with you, but I will definitely be posting a few of my favorites over the next few weeks. Seeing as how my week escaped me and I wasn’t able to post my usual “Wear Wednesday,” I decided to share something else in the fashion realm with you.
BRIDESMAID’S DRESSES!!
I only had two requirements of my girls on my big day:
1. Pick a tea-length dress (that you love and will wear again)in the champagne color family
2: Wear nude shoes
That’s it. I always knew I wanted a “colorless” palette at our wedding, with ivories, champagne’s and only the hint of natural greenery touches from the bouquets. I also wasn’t too terrible fond of the idea of having to choose the bridesmaid’s dress for them. I mean, who needs THAT kind of pressure?! Besides, isn’t it a major faux paux show up to an event in the same dress as another woman? Why should a wedding be any different?!
It was a little unnerving at first, just giving the ladies free reign to pick out their dresses. (Would they all match, etc…I even – at first – handpicked 38 dresses for them to choose from!!) but the girls ended up going their own routes and choosing their own, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.

What do you think? Do you like mismatched bridesmaids dresses? Would you let your girls choose their own?
I LOVE this. If I could go back, I would definitely do the mismatched dresses 🙂
