Well, welcome to my home anyway. I kind of can’t believe that it has taken me this long to get around to posting a picture of my home with you all, but what can I say…I’ve been a busy girl! At this point, I feel like the living room is really the only area in the house that feels “done”. You may remember the moodboard I created when we were first moving in. I certainly have a few more touches to add on (accessories, curtains) but I think I’ve done a good job of creating my vision, and I love how it looks so far.
It’s so fun how we made some of our less desirable pieces come together and work for us. (ie. the gold mirror <we almost tossed> pulls together that corner of the room perfectly, by picking up the gold flake accents in the wing back chair, and the Nate Berkus pillow from Target was just the gold icing on the cake! I’m still not terribly crazy about the couch, but it works and it’s pretty darn comfy, so… it will have to do for now!)
Next on the list is getting the curtains up, putting some pictures in the NUMEROUS empty frames, finding a long and slender coffee table {loving this one} and starting a gallery wall in the dining room. What do you think so far? Any suggestions?
I think I have that same rug in a light blue grey in my bedroom!xx,ECurrently Coveting
Good ol' Tarjay, Erin! 😉
I love that rug!! I wanted to get it for our living room, but now I can't remember why I didn't… it may not have been big enough… Anyway, living room looks great! I started a frame wall above our bar cart and I still haven't finished it. I ran out of things to hang. But I love frame walls and have grand plans to finish it this fall!Nikkithefashionablewife.com
It's definitely a process, isn't it Nikki 🙂
