Back in March I introduced you all to a contest with Frizz Ease and vowed to get
#downfor30 using John Frieda products. Today, I’m back to
show you just exactly how I get down.
Let’s get started
Curly hair can be tricky, and over the years I’ve come to learn just exactly what my tresses need: moisture! It’s of utmost important to keep my hair hydrated and I can’t imagine a day without conditioner. Conversely, shampoo can dry my hair out and leave it feeling coarse, so I only shampoo about once a week to remove product build-up.
After rinsing, my hair tends to dry out the second it’s exposed to air, so I start with Frizz Ease® Dream Curls Styling Spray to hydrate my dehydrated waves. I love this product because it really starts to activate the curl and define the wave.
Next, I use a generous dollop of Frizz Ease® Curl Calming Creme and apply throughout my very damp hair to calm frizz and add definition as I begin to start scrunching. I know every hair professional is cringing right now at the thought of me scrunching because it “creates frizz” but hey, a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do and this girl gets her scrunch on. #sorrynotsorry
Lastly I apply Frizz Ease®Curl Reviver Styling Mousse to define the curl and lock in the moisture (I told you, that’s key here!) As an added bonus, this mousse comes with thermal protectant to safeguard against hairdryer heat damage and leaves my hair looking defined without the crunch-factor. #winning
I finish off by blow-drying as I continue to loosely scrunch.
And that my friends, is how I achieve the everyday wave.
By the way, I keep a tube of Frizz Ease® Touch Up Creme in my purse for emergency frizz control whenever I need a midday pick me up.
Now that I’ve shown you how I get down, it’s your turn!
Join me on Instagram and show me how you get #downfor30 to enter for your chance to win the trip of a lifetime to NYC!
