If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen that over the weekend I got a little crafty. We’ll blame the fact that it was Saturday night (and I had a couple glasses of wine) but I had completely forgot to take pictures for a step-by-step tutorial. Either way, I thought it would be fun to share the instructions on how to make this Fall wreath with you:
What you need:
- 12 faux Hydrangeas – I used 4 colors but you can use 3 if you prefer
- Burlap Bow
- Hot Glue Gun
- Hot Glue
- 18″ Grapevine Wreath
- Floral Shears
Instructions:
- Begin by removing the flowers off of the stems with the floral sheers – cut about a half inch underneath the base of the flower.
- Using the hot glue gun, begin attaching the flowers one by one to the top of the wreath. You want the flowers to sit flat on wreath, so that the head of the flower points toward you.
- Decide where you want the “top” of the wreath to be when it’s hanging. Put some hot glue on the back of the burlap bow, and affix to top of the wreath.
- Voila! You’re done!
As I mentioned earlier, I used 4 colors of the hydrangeas but you can use three if you prefer. I really went back and forth and couldn’t decide if I wanted to use all 4 colors, but in the end, I’m glad I did. Also, the 18″ wreath fit perfectly for my door, but if you have a larger door I would consider using the 22″ grapevine wreath and 16 hydrangeas.
I hope you enjoy this Fall craft, just in time for Thanksgiving!
Psst – If you like it then please consider pinning it!
