Fact: these jeans used to be black. Alas, after so many washes, they have faded and lost their color. Lucky for me, the whole faded black/gray look is in right now, so I get by with wearing them for the time being. (The first and only time washing machine woes have worked to my favor.)
With Spring/Summer like temperatures, and snowfall the next, I’ve been turning to this classic look quite often. Chambray is such a great piece for transitional weather, because it’s light enough for warmer days and goes with just about any old sweater/coat that I might need to throw on when the temps drop.
By the way, if you’re needing a crash course in how to wear jeans with ankle booties, remember two words: tuck or roll. What’s your current uniform?
