Staying active is so important to me. I work a very high stress job, and with trying to juggle all things work, blog, and play, stress can take a toll on me if I don’t make the time to release it. That obviously is not always the easiest thing when your calendar is jam-packed, but I always feel so much better when I just make the time for it. Like they say, no body ever said, “I really regretted that workout.”
Recently, I recommitted to myself to get back into a workout routine. Whether it’s an hour long power yoga session, or a short jog in the neighborhood, I’m dedicated to getting back into shape. Not just for the physical aspect, but also for my mental game. Isn’t it crazy how you feel after you just release some endorphins?! I’ve got to admit, I owe a large part of this change of mind to lululemon.
It’s been proven that wearing cute workout clothes will make you want to work out. You’ll feel good wearing them, and putting them on is really half the battle, isn’t it? I’m increasingly less likely to skip out on a workout, if I’ve already taken the time to put my on workout gear.
Lately I’ve been living in this outfit from lululemon. It’s great for running, but what I’m really crazy about it how great this top and bottom are for yoga.
The material and color pattern are a dream, but I am particularly crazy about the high waist. During a yoga class, I often find myself in a constant battle of pants vs. muffin top. Nothing is worse than a crescent lunge twist, when your pants decide to slide under your belly and your state of higher consciousness turns quickly to self-conscience.
This tank is equally amazing. It is breathable (for the most sweaty moments) and the tank acts as a magnet when paired with these pants – meaning, the fabrics attract one another so that they stay in place!
Thanks so much to lululemon for the sweet gear. Honestly, the Colorado Springs store is one of the best around. Everyone that works there is sooooo sweet, and helpful, and you can tell their entire heart is in their job. They are opening up a new location soon at The Shops at Briargate, and I can’t wait!
Stay tuned for more posts with lululemon, in the coming weeks.
