Truth: this is only time I got dressed all weekend. Well, with the exception of a brunch date with a friend, in which I got dressed for all of 1.5 hours before coming home and throwing on my sweats. This outfit stayed on me for a solid 3 hours, so I made sure to document it. #obvi

Now, before you go thinking I’m a total slob (which…I may or may not be), you must know that I’ve been involved with a total home remodel. Aaand, because I’m crazy as hell, I planned a housewarming party before we were officially done with the project. Like for real, it’s next weekend. *insert teeth chattering emoji here*
We’ve been working day and night to get the house in order. (No like seriously, I just stopped painting trim and edges to come over her and blog!) Quite frankly, I’m over it. I love our home and how much we’ve put into it (#SweatEquity) but I’m also so looking forward to the day that I can come home from work and NOT work. Like, “oh hey, babe. Want to pop some popcorn, catch up on Scandal, and pound a bottle of wine?” One day…
It’s actually kind of a good thing that we have the party next weekend. Because trust and believe that after we get this place presentable enough for guests, this girl is taking a major break from all these projects.
By the way, can we just talk about how amaze my husband is? Let’s just say he may be Drew Scott by day, but he is all Jonathan Scott by night. (Property Brothers reference.)
More on that later…

Hi, stopping by from Pink Sole link up where you are my neighbor. Don't you love husbands who rock it out. I have one too. Love that stripped cardi. Still looking for the perfect one for my wardrobe. These are all really great. Love the title of your blog.
Love the look- laid back and totally easy-going, but still put-together. And I hear you girl- you can't be expected to wear real clothes in the middle of a home remodel! :)-AshleyLe Stylo Rouge
