If you follow me on snapchat (username leah_behr), you might have seen that I recently got my lip lasered! (aka – bye-bye girl-stache) I was really nervous about the process, but it turned out to be a breeze!
The whole process only took about 30 minutes from the time I arrived to when I left, which had me thinking. What other quick beauty treatments could I get accomplished on my lunch break?
Blow Out – I don’t even know life before these things. Honestly, if I am wearing my hair straight these days, it’s because I went to Veda (in Colorado Springs) and had them wash and blow dry my hair for $20! I have fairly thin hair, but I have a ton of it! So paying someone $20 to blow-dry it for me, is money well spent if you ask me. Plus, my hair is not oily, so I can easily last 3-5 days after a blowout before I need to wash it again.
Tanning – This is a controversial topic. Some would tell you not to tan at all, and I would probably err on telling you not to spray tan because of all the chemicals it’s pumping into your body. Either way, if you do either, it’s a quick 15 minute process that you can easily squeeze in on your lunch break.
B12 Shot – As you may know, I suffer with chronic fatigue, so I recently started getting B12 shots in an effort to energize me. The whole process takes about 5-10 minutes, and gives you that boost of natural energy that lasts for days.
Laser Hair Removal – A new fave! Some people had told me that it felt like a rubber band was hitting you, so clearly I was not looking forward to that experience. After going through the procedure myself though, I’d say it felt more like a “zap”. (Think electric fly swatter!) The technician “zapped” me 6 times across the lip, and was done. It was far less painful than a wax, and best of all…I will be done within 3 sessions. Holla! The whole process took 30 minutes from the time I walked in and out of the door.
What beauty treatments do you fit into your lunch break?
