In Colorado, it’s hard to get super excited about spring. Case and point, I woke up to snow on Friday morning, and frigid temperatures lasted until Sunday when it finally warmed up. It will continue on like that until summer arrives. Luckily, since dresses have the power to transform, we can can count on Tommy Bahama to whisk us away to a tropical destination – at least in our minds, anyway.
Tommy Bahama is such an iconic island-lifestyle brand, but there was so much I didn’t know about the company. For example, did you know they have artists create every design? Like, they literally have artists sketching designs in house and then use them as the designs on their clothing. In addition to that, each season’s collection is centered around a destination, such as this season’s theme, which is Saint-Tropez.
This dress is such a classic silhouette, that you really can’t go wrong with. The ruche detail on the front is super flattering, while remaining conservative. Their exclusive travel fabric resists wrinkling, is so comfortable! It’s truly perfect for relaxing in style.
To learn more about the art of Tommy Bahama, and the concept behind the designs, take a peak at this video. I was truly blown away by it! Be sure to stop by and see the other #FBloggerNation babes. We each styled a different piece, and I’d love to hear which is your favorite.

To be honest, Tommy Bahama makes me think of tacky shirts my uncle wears. I'm so happy to see that they have a very stylish side for women! This dress is too fabulous! Thanks for sharing :)xo Laceyhttp://www.myboringcloset.com
Glad this post changed your mind!
You look so beautiful, Leah! That dress is so lovely, I love both the print and style, your legs look miles long! We had a similar start to our week here in New York, too. Sunday night it snowed lightly and when I woke up early Monday morning, the cars were covered in snow dust and it was freezing! To think, it was the second day of spring! Thankfully it's warmed up a bit and hopefully it continues to both here and where you are, too! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week!XO,Jalisawww.thestylecontour.com
