Unless you’ve been living under a very unfashionable rock, you know that pom and tassel sandals are trending right now. Unfortunately, they almost always come with a steep price tag. Looking to save a few *hundred* bucks, I decided to make my own.
What you need:
Pom poms
Tassels
Colorful Cord
Plastic star beads
Lace-up Sandals – I bought these for $13!
Hot Glue
Jewelry String
(all the above items can be found at your local craft store, in the craft and jewelry sections)
What to do:
The instructions are easy and the sandals can really be assembled however you choose. For my pair, I hot glued plastic star beads, decorative cord, and pom poms to the areas you choose. For the tassels, I tied them on with string, and hot glued them in place, to make sure they were secure.
That’s it!

I made these cuties just in time for our cruise! We’re currently in Miami setting sail for Key West and Cozumel, to celebrate two of our best friends getting married. I’m rooming with my bestie, and the hubby is rooming with the boys. It’s a combined bachelor/bachelorette party, and is going to be so much fun!

Oh my gosh Leah, this is the most genius thing ever! You're right all of the tassel sandals I've seen are so expensive, this is the perfect solution and honestly they're cuter than a lot of the ones I've seen on some fairly high-end websites! Amazing job girl! Heidi || Wishes & Reality
