I know what you’re thinking…a tank top in late October…in Colorado? I’m just as shocked as you, but the weather has been incredible lately and I am not complaining! In fact, I’m taking full advantage of warm days with hiking and sightseeing around this beautiful state. I’ve been getting back into gear and focusing on my health/fitness routine these past few months (more on that and how Pure Barre whipped me back into shape in the near future). Of course, my new workout regimen has sparked a mild obsession with workout gear. Or maybe my obsession with athletic wear has inspired me to hit the gym harder? Hard to say. You decide.
When it comes to leggings, I love me a high-waist. It holds in the muffin top whether running, hitting up a yoga class, or binge eating on a wine wednesday. These studio urban instinct tights have that high-waisted top, plus the material feels buttery and they are uber comfy. If you are wondering, I ordered a small, but could have totally sized down and gone with an XS.
Now, let’s talk sports bras. I feel like I am super wide around my bust (not cup size, unfortunately, but just wide all around). Because of that, I tend to be super picky when it comes to sports bras. Half of them feel like they are going to cut off my circulation, or at least give me an unsightly bulge of stomach fat rolling out from underneath. (You know what I mean?!) That’s why I tend to reach for sports bras with lightweight support. They are just more comfortable, IMO. I’m kind of crazy about this one, because it’s got a crazy cool strappy design to accentuate the shoulder line, proving that shoulders can in fact be sexy. Who knew?!
Last but not least, can we talk about these shoes?! Holy smokes…all I can say is these are so cool! They are lightweight/flexible and the high-top neoprene ankle makes them is so stylish! I love that I can just slip these on without having to lace them up. I ordered a 1/2 size down then I normally wear, so just check the Reebok shoe size guide to make sure you order the right size for your foot.
I’ve got a few more posts lined up for this week. See you manana!
