When it comes to trends, I’m not always on board. Most of the time, I tend to stay in my comfort zone when it comes to fashion. Why knock the tried and true? Still, with so many cute spring and summer trends on the horizon, it’s hard to completely ignore them.
If you’re in the same boat as me, and want to give some new spring trends a try, without stepping too far out of your comfort zone, here are a couple of suggestions.
1. Stick to what you know: If you know you love stripes, stick with stripes. (No one becomes a floral girl overnight!) Try picking up a striped top with a unique neckline, like this one shoulder ruffle top.
2. Be confident! Seriously, this one goes a long way. Just because you have not tried something new, doesn’t mean you won’t completely rock it! At the end of the day, your confidence is your best accessory and can get you away with way more than you think.
If you are in the market to try some spring trends (that you will actually want to wear) I’ve rounded up a few of my faves from the Shopbop sale. Most pieces linked below are under $100, but it’s a great time to stock up on designer pieces because EVERYTHING is 20% off! I’m thinking about picking up these Quay sunnies I’ve had my eye one, but Ray-bans are on sale, too, if that’s more your thing.
What spring trends have caught your eye?
I'm the same way, and find that I can't get on board with a lot of trends. I stick to my tried and true favorites and mix them into trends that I do like. Awesome post <3Green Fashionista
