Got a break from the cold weather over the weekend, so we shot this blue ruffle shift dress. I received this dress from Charles Henry and have worn it multiple times since! (And I get compliments on it every time!)
During fall, it’s easy to gravitate towards dark hues or earth tones, but it’s also fun to reach for unexpected colors, like this baby blue ruffle shift dress, to switch things up during the season. I don’t typically reach for baby blue, but I have to say, I just love the fresh, vibrant color of this dress. It works so well for work and play, because the mock neck gives it a professional feel, while the ruffle hem adds a playful touch.
Also new to my closet are these strappy sandals. The stiletto heel never really went out of style, but it is definitely going to be coming back in a big way, next season. I have to admit, I (and my feet) have been loving the chunky heel trend. And the older I get, the more I appreciate a low heel. If I’m going to go with a stiletto these days, I want to make sure they are gentle on feet. So I love these because they are perfect for all day wear. (I love them so much I bought them in black, too.)
