Happy Friday friends! It’s been a while since I have done one of my “Springs Favorites“. If you are new to the series, I basically share all of my favorite restaurants, gyms, businesses and things to do, here in the great city of Colorado Springs. And, with Thanksgiving right around the corner, I thought it was the perfect time to share Tiny Kitchen Company with you!
Tiny Kitchen Company was birthed from a “love for all things lost”, as their website says. They make the kind of treats you would eat loads of at your granny’s house – and they are just as good as granny’s! Tiny Kitchen Company bakes everything from hand pies, to jams and full size pies, in her 50 sq. ft. kitchen (hence the name, “Tiny Kitchen”). I personally can’t get enough of her berry handpies, but I recently tried her handmade apple pie, which uses fresh, thinly sliced apples, and it’s to die for! I immediately ordered one for Thanksgiving.
Yes, I decided to go the route of buying pies, this year. It’s always such a struggle to me to do that, as I truly love to bake. This little blog of mine was actually created when I had plenty of time to do that, and I used to share quite a bit of recipes on here. Now, between work, the blog, non-profit work and other extra-curricular activities, I find it more of a burden to bake, than I do enjoy it. In an effort to spend the Holiday season decompressing instead of over-stressing, I’m super thankful I have Tiny Kitchen’s homemade pies to purchase. If you would find it beneficial to purchase your own pie from Nerissa, for either the Holidays or just whenever, you can order here.
By the way, – if you’re in town, you should stop by Coco Crafted on Monday. I’ll be sharing all my blogging tips and tricks at the next Girl Crush Social Club. You can find all the info here. Hope to see you there!
