I know…I can’t believe it either, but that’s right…I’m packing a carry-on for 10 days in Italy! Who am I?! When we first booked our trip, I was committed to only bringing a carry-on, and guys…I’m really doing it! We leave Tuesday night and I got everything packed up over the weekend, so I could have a stress-free labor day. I conquered this task by, one, not bringing a ton of unnecessary shit with me, but two, with a little help from the items below. Here are 5 essentials you need to pack a carry on for 10 days in Italy.
Packing Cubes – If you don’t have these, stop reading this right now and go buy them immediately. Like, for real. These are essential space savers in your suitcase. You can roll everything up into each cube and neatly arrange them in your luggage. Best of all, these are only $21. I bought one pack and Brandon and I were able to split it between the two of us for both of our carry-ons. You can get them here.
Top Tote Hat Clip – I’m such a hat girl and have to take mine with me on any trip, but packing a hat in my already full carry-on was not going to happen. I had been seeing these Top Tote Hat Clips around for a while and finally got my hands on one. Let’s just say, it’s a total game changer! You just attach the magnetic base to your hat and then clip the metal portion onto your bag, and then go about your life with a handsfree solution to traveling with your hat in tow. This one is linked here.
Clear Toiletry Bag and Clear Makeup Cube – I scored these on a last-minute run to Target the other day and they were such a good find. I piled all my toiletry items into this one and my makeup in this cube. They are super stylish and I can easily throw them onto the conveyer belt as we go through TSA. They are linked here and here.
Travel Jewelry Case – If you’ve ever thrown your jewelry into a ziplock bag only to end up with a total tangle shit show later, you need this travel case, too. It’s only $13 and has the perfect storage solution for your necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. Linked here.
Carry On – We can’t talk about the essentials you need to pack a carry on for 10 days in Italy without talking about the actual carry-on, ya know? I bought this one earlier in the year and love it so much I convince B to get one for our trip (in a different color, of course). It’s under $80, durable AF and holds all the things. Linked here.
Welp…that’s all folks. We’re wheels up tomorrow and I am SOOOO freaking excited. Make sure you are following along on Instagram. Ciao bella.
Such a cute guide! This is super exciting indeed. Have fun dear!
