I used to have to choose between working out and washing my hair. Morning workouts were never an option because my hair would get sweaty and gross and I couldn’t dream of spending another hour or two in the morning, having to style my hair. Then, one day I realized that sweat actually gave my hair such nice grit and texture if I styled it after a workout, and using dry shampoo before actually prevents oils from forming. Since using this process, I’ve really never had to choose between washing my hair and working out, and it’s been a gift to get to workout each morning and still head to the office with amazing hair.
For me, my biggest woes are pretty much in that vein – choosing between washing my hair and working out. #firstworldproblems, am I right? I mean, really though… A couple of years ago, a friend in South Africa told me about the water crisis there. Did you know that in January of 2018, Cape Town announced it was 3 months away from running out of water? A city of 4 million people…OUT OF WATER. Drastic measures were made toward water conservation and Waterl<ss jumped in to provide options for a group of people that had no choice but to not wash their hair.
Luckily, although I’m fortunate enough to have the option to wash my hair, I don’t always have the luxury of time. So, dry styling products are my best friend, and help me continue to be a girl-on-the-go. Not all dry styling products are created equal, and I’m super picky when it comes to the products I use. So far, I’m a fan of Waterl<ss and their product line. I obviously love their No Residue dry shampoo for prolonging my days in between washes, and even better that it doesn’t have any white residue (like so many other dry shampoos leave). I’ve also been loving the Waterl<ss heat shield to help me shield and protect my locks when I’m styling in between washes.
Whether you’re looking to save a wash or save water, Waterl<ss has options for you.
These products are now available in the U.S. at your local Walmart. Shop here !
I will definitely add this to my to-try list. This sounds really good. Thanks dear!
