I’ve been meaning to share my margarita recipe for a while, and there’s no time like the 4th to make a yummy cocktail if you ask me. I am super picky when it comes to margaritas…(miss me with the fake bs ingredients, ok?). When it comes to my cocktails, I want pure, simple ingredients and the ability to whip them up easily without having a minor in mixology. That’s exactly what this recipe is.
My Perfect 4 Ingredient Margarita Recipe
Ingredients: (Makes 1-2 margaritas.)
– Silver Tequila: 1.5 ounces (I use Altos but any will do.)
– 1.5 Fresh limes, juiced
– Cointreau: .5 oz
-Triple Sec: .5 oz (I use a mix of the two orange liqueurs but if you only have one, it will do)
-Sea salt
-Optional: simple syrup or agave to taste
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker, and shake things up. (You want to shake it enough to really melt the ice down into the drink.) Pour over salt-rimmed glasses, filled with ice and serve.
My glasses are from Mexico, but here are some super similar ones: Mexican Margarita Tumblers
Also, this knife from the Chrissy Tiegan for Target collection is a steal and is SO good!
the YUMZZZ THANKS FOR SHARING
