We’ve been in our house for over a year now, and don’t have ANYTHING hanging on the walls if you can believe it. We wanted to be super thoughtful in each item we selected and not just “buy stuff to buy stuff”. Still, a year later, the walls sit bare without having put any thought into them at all. I came across Desenio recently and asked if we could partner on some wall art to update our home office and my blog office. I LOVE how it turned out!
If there’s anything 2020 has taught me, it’s the joy that can be found in staying home. If you follow along on Instagram, you know that I am constantly on the go. My friends always tease me about this and say I have no chill. Whether it’s work or play, I pretty much rush in and out of my home like a tornado and change my clothes to go off to the next thing. You’d think staying home this year would have broken me, but I really embraced it and quickly learned to cherish the time spent in this space. And, all this time at home this year has definitely got me organizing and decorating like never before.
We spent time this year finishing up Brandon’s office/the guest bedroom. Our whole home is super light-toned but we went with some darker/cooler tones in the office and I wanted to pull in some warmth through the styling to balance it out. I picked out this print and this one and had them framed through Desenio. I love the combo of the cooler and warmer tones. They work so perfectly for the space (which you can check out on my stories/home highlight).
For my blog office, I went with some minimalist vibes that get an A+ for aesthetic. I’m super into line art right now and Desenio has a ton. The prints I selected are linked below.
Line Art / Pampas Reeds / Palm Leaf
